SBYC is situated in the sheltered SW corner of the Saldanha Harbour area. As a natural harbour Saldanha Bay is easily accessible from the sea in all weather conditions. The bay area with it's pristine beaches and leading into the Langebaan lagoon, a natural vlei area, is one of the countries most beautiful and best sailing and cruising destinations. Visitors are most welcome. Saldanha Bay is a Port of Entry with easy access to clearing in and exiting facilities.
